Shout out to the Good Samaritan and the beautiful lady at the til that saved my trip! I lost my ID like three hours into my vacation and she recognized me the day after, someone found it outside and gave it to them hoping I’d stop in again. Needless to say this is a fine example of why it’s important to shop local and family owned. Thank you again La Playa

I stopped by this Market about 15 times in my 4 day stay in SoFi. They have a great selection of local favorites and items tourists need. The COFFEE IS FANTASTIC! It’s very similar to a New York Bodega. Sandwiches made to order and delicious.

Great food at this this market. I think the food is dominican. They had a buffet type of spread and it was on point. Also have groceries.

Best Cuban food at the best price point I’ve experienced on the island. Had multiple plates that lasted me 2+ meals for <15$. Please go here and enjoy their Cuban coffee, beef stew, plantains, yucca and more.

We stopped by twice during our staycation in the area and absolutely LOVED the café con leche. We were greeted with a smile and given a café con leche like we had made it at home. Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing coffee, food, anything you need.

Nothing fancy but a great local shop. They sell deli sandwiches in a small selection of hot takeout food that seemed very popular with the locals. Our turkey sub was great. They also are a small market with fairly wide variety of food snack and drink options. The fresh produce was limited but available. .
